What is Muddy Crown?

The name is a metaphor; a crown worn that was dropped in mud and picked up to be polished off. It's like when we allow others (or even ourselves) to drag our worth through the mud. We are the only ones who can let it affect us by allowing the thoughts of others to dirty our reputation. We can polish our crown by learning to love ourselves; despite our differences. And with that self love, we can stand confidently with our crown on our head. 

What products do you offer?

Currently we have a variety of options for fragrances. We have hand poured candles available in metal tins or decorative glass jars and Scoopable Wax Melts. Overall weight is based on volume of our wax and fragrance oil. Scoopable Wax Melts are wax melts that you can control the strength of your fragrance by scooping as little or as much into a wax warmer to enjoy. You may use a scooper which is included with the container. In the near future we will also be releasing a line of bath bombs and are currently testing out other product options! 

How are you different from other candle companies? 

We offer SEVERAL strong, long-lasting scents in various options & colors at affordable prices! Whether you wish to purchase a traditional candle, scoopable wax melts to enjoy. Customers can request a customized order for whichever fragrance, colors, etc if they wish to accommodate their own personal style or décor. Custom orders are available starting at $40 depending on container, size, and add-ins. We also refill containers for prayer candles. Do you have a rewards program?

When you sign up for an account, you can earn points for each $1 you spend. You can earn points by following our social media accounts and sharing our content. You can also refer friends for you & your friend to get a coupon to use on your order. 

Where are you located?

We are based in California. 

Do you offer local delivery?

If you currently live in Ridgecrest, CA. We can deliver (based on availability) locally based on prior request. There are only two of us hand making products. Alex is currently active in the Navy and traveling a lot. So this option isn't always available and we may need to make other arrangements. Please use the contact page to fill out a request or contact one of us directly before selecting this option when you checkout.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Candles take approximately 1-2 weeks to cure. So we try our best to have candles readily available. Although we cannot always know which ones will sell at specific times or rates considering customer preferences. Products that are not available at the time of processing we will keep in consistent contact if it should happen to take longer than 2 weeks. We also must keep in mind that some ingredients needed to make our products may take time to arrive should we run out. This is why we are constantly keeping track of our inventory. 

What if I'm looking for a specific scent?

If you cannot find a scent, you may use the contact us page for help. Or you may also complete the Custom Orders form at the top of the website so we can accommodate you. Any other feedback or suggestions are welcome as well.
